## What this site is

Tray & Threshold covers three categories of entryway storage furniture in depth:
storage benches, shoe storage cabinets and hall trees. It is written for someone
who has measured a hallway and needs to know what fits it, so almost every page
is organized around a measurement rather than around a product.

The site does NOT test products. It compiles published manufacturer
specifications, converts every dimension to both units, checks stated capacities
against real shoe lengths from the standard sizing charts, and ranks against a
five-metric rubric published in full at https://trayandthreshold.com/methodology. That non-testing
stance is stated on every ranking page.
